L 0 4 5 NOy 5 '76 <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING AGREEMENT FOR PERSONAL SERVICES - <br /> URBAN AFFAIRS SPECIALIST <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6818 entitled <br /> "Resolution Approving and Authorizing Execution of Agreement <br /> for Personal Services - Urban Affairs Specialist", adopted <br /> October 9, 1972 the City and the United States Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development entered into an agreement pro- <br /> viding for the assignment of Richared E. Rivas to the City <br /> as an Urban Affairs Specialist; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is proposed that the period of assignment <br /> specified in said agreement be extended from November 1, 1973 <br /> to January 31, 1974; <br /> NOW THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That certain agreement entitled "Assignment Agreement" <br /> by and between the Department of Housing and Urban Development <br /> and the City of Redwood City providing for the assignment of <br /> Richard E. Rivas to the City as an Urban Affairs Specialist is <br /> hereby amended to provide that the '"Period of Assignment" therein <br /> specified shall be from October 16, 1972 to January 31, 1974. <br /> 2 . A copy of this Resolution together with copies of <br /> letter dated October 19, 1973 from the City Manager to the <br /> office of the Regional Administrator, United States Department <br /> of Housing and Urban Development, and letter dated October 26, <br /> 1973 from the office of the Regional Administrator, United <br /> States Department of Housing and Urban Development to the <br /> City Manager shall be attached to the aforesaid agreement and <br /> by this reference be incorporated therein. <br /> 3. Except as amended herein, all the terms, conditions <br /> and provisions of the aforesaid agreement shall remain in full <br /> force and effect. <br /> 4 . This Resolution shall be effective upon adoption, <br /> and shall be operative, retroactive to November 1, 1973. <br /> * * * <br />
