DES:yc : 11/9/73 <br /> ORIGINAL. <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 7 04 ✓ NOV 1273 <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION FOR ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY <br /> TO REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64, <br /> AND SETTING A TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARING THEREON <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1. That this Council hereby finds and determines the following: <br /> a. A petition for the annexation of the hereinafter described <br /> lands to Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64 , <br /> a general improvement district established pursuant to <br /> the provisions of Ordinance No. 1128 of the City of <br /> Redwood City, has been received and is presently on file <br /> in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> b. The petition aforesaid has been signed by the owners of <br /> at least 51 per cent of the assessed value of the lands <br /> proposed to be annexed, and the City Clerk' s certification <br /> has been made and filed pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Section 1504 of Ordinance No. 1128. <br /> c. The lands which are proposed to be annexed are situate <br /> in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State <br /> of California, and are more particularly described in <br /> "Exhibit A" hereof, attached hereto, and by this reference <br /> incorporated herein. <br /> 2. That the lands proposed to be annexed to Redwood City <br /> General Improvement District No. 1-64 shall, if annexed, be subject <br /> to taxation for all Redwood City General Improvement District <br /> No. 1-64 bonds presently outstanding or authorized. <br /> 3. That Monday, the nth day of December , 1973 , at <br /> the hour of 7 : 30 o' clock p.m. , or as soon thereafter as the matter <br /> can be heard, in the City Council Chambers, Veterans Memorial <br /> Building, 1455 Madison Avenue, Redwood City, California, is fixed <br /> as the time and place where the Council will consider the matter <br /> of annexing the hereinabove described lands to Redwood City General <br /> Improvement District No. 1-64 . Notice is hereby given that any <br /> person interested in, or objecting to, the proposed annexation <br /> may appear and be heard thereon. <br /> 4 . That the City Clerk shall publish, post and mail copies of <br /> this resolution in accordance with the provisions of Section 1506 <br /> of Ordinance No. 1128 . <br /> * <br />
