MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> September 10~ 2001 <br /> M.O. 01-129 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: September 12, 2001 <br /> <br />Attention: City Attorney <br /> Community Development <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Policy Statement on Creating Successful Public Spaces. <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on September 10, 2001. <br /> <br />Present: Councilmember Ira, Jordan, Howard, Pierce, and Mayor Ruskin. <br /> <br />Absent: Hartnett, and Vice Mayor Claire. <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br />M/S Ira/Howard Recommendation: Adopt the following policy statement <br />on public spaces. "It is the policy of the City of Redwood City that in the design of <br />public and private projects high priority be given to creating comfortable, enjoyable, <br />and esthetically pleasing public spaces.
