10/21/2013 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15302 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION AND <br /> SALARY PLAN TO ESTABLISH THE CLASSIFICATION OF HUMAN <br /> RESOURCES MANAGER <br /> WHEREAS, it was determined that a Human Resources Manager is needed to <br /> oversee the operations of the Human Resources Division, under the general direction of <br /> the Assistant City Manager; and <br /> WHEREAS, the classification specifications of the Human Resources Manager <br /> were prepared by the Assistant City Manager in consultation with Human Resources <br /> staff, to ensure the current and foreseeable needs of the organization were met; and <br /> WHEREAS, it was determined that the Human Resources Manager classification <br /> should be included in the Executive Management group and established with a pay <br /> range of $9,057 - $11,714 per month in accordance with the process set forth in the <br /> Executive Management Summary of Benefits; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br /> incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> 2.
