�RiGl�9�:� <br /> AGREEMENT FOR PROGRAM SUPPORT AND COORDINATION <br /> FOR THE ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG ABUSE (AOD) PREVENTION PARTNERSHIP <br /> GRANT <br /> SAN MATEO COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br /> This AGREEMENT is made and entered into as of the ��-- day of N�dtar�3��— <br /> ��013 by and between SAN MATEO COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE ("ConsultanY'), <br /> REDWOOD CITY 2020 (a collaboration comprised of eight partners, including City of Redwood, <br /> Redwood City Elementary School District, Sequoia Union High School District, County of San Mateo <br /> Health and Human Services, Sequoia Healthcare District, John W. Gardner Center for Youth and their <br /> Communities – Stanford University, Kaiser Permanente, and First 5 of San Mateo County) and CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD ("City") Acting as Fiscal Agent for Redwood City 2020. Collectively Consultant, <br /> Redwood City 2020, and City are hereinafter referred to as the"Parties." <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. Redwood City 2020 is a Community Collaborative that coordinates the delivery of <br /> services to children, youth and families living in the City of Redwood City and North Fair Oaks, an <br /> unincorporated area adjacent to Redwood City. Redwood City 2020 is made up of eight partners, <br /> including City of Redwood City, Redwood City Elementary School District, Sequoia Union High School <br /> District, County of San Mateo Health and Human Services, Sequoia Healthcare District, John W. <br /> Gardner Center for Youth and their Communities–Stanford University, Kaiser Permanente, and First <br /> 5 of San Mateo County to provide leadership and oversight necessary to develop a coordinated <br /> approach to strengthen academic and social outcomes for children and youth living within the <br /> attendance area of the Redwood City School District and provide valuable resources to families so <br /> they can be successful primary caregivers to their children. <br /> B. City serves as fiscal agent for Redwood City 2020 and as such contracts for services <br /> required by Redwood City 2020. <br /> C. Redwood City 2020 requires the professional services of a consultant experienced in <br /> program support. <br /> D. Consultant has the necessary experience in providing professional services and <br /> advice. <br /> E. Selection of Consultant is expected to achieve the desired results in an expedited <br /> fashion. <br /> F. Consultant has submitted a proposal to Redwood City 2020 and has affirmed its <br /> willingness and ability to perForm such work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants contained <br /> herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Scope of Services ("Services"l. <br /> The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office will work in collaboration with the AOD Abuse Prevention <br /> Partnership to decrease harm to youth by reducing underage access to harmful environmental factors <br /> influenced by/related to Alcohol and Other Drugs. <br /> Specific tasks that shall be completed include: <br /> • Law Enforcement to perform 3 to 4 rounds of decoy operations/compliance checks; <br /> • Follow-up and host at least one Responsible Beverage Server Training (RBST)for merchants <br /> and their employees as an educational component to reducing youth excess to alcohol; <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br /> REV:10-29-13 MLG <br /> ATTY/AGR/2013.211/AOD SUBCONTRACT-SHERIFF'S RC 2020 <br />
