�'�.�1�'���� <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> (SOUTHLAND CONSTRUCTION) <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into as of the ,�� day of <br /> n�oV2 ��, 2013, by and befinreen the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and <br /> SOUTHLAND CONSTRUCTION ("Contractor"). <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. City requires Contractor's services to perform renovation of the Sandpiper� <br /> Community Center located at 797 Redwood Shores Parkway, Redwood <br /> City, CA 94063. <br /> B. Contractor has the necessary experience in general contractor and <br /> renovation work. <br /> C. Selection of Contractor is expected to achieve the desired results in an <br /> expedited fashion. <br /> D. Contractor has submitted a proposal to City and has affirmed its willingness <br /> and ability to perform such work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual <br /> covenants contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Scope of Work and Time for Performance. Contractor shall perForm <br /> everything required to be perFormed, shall provide and furnish all of the <br /> labor, equipment, materials, and tools to perForm the following work by <br /> Sunday, January 12, 2014: <br /> REDWOOD CITY SANDPIPER COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> RENOVATION <br /> 797 REDWOOD SHORES PARKWAY <br /> in strict accordance with the Scope of Work pertaining thereto as <br /> described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein and <br /> made a part of this Agreement as if herein fully set forth. <br /> 2. Compensation. City shall pay to Contractor, as full consideration for the <br /> faithful perFormance by Contractor of the aforementioned work, the amount <br /> of Fifty Nine Thousand Three Hundred Eighty Six Dollars ($59,386.00) <br /> computed in accordance with Contractor's accepted Proposal dated <br /> November 4, 2013. <br /> Page i of 19 <br />
