KRUEGER <br /> WHEREAS, this Council was saddened to learn of the passing <br /> of John H. Krueger on June 13, 1981; and <br /> WHEREAS, John Krueger, best known as conductor of the San <br /> Mateo County Symphony Orchestra, also served the City of Redwood <br /> City as a member of its Civic Cultural Commission from October, <br /> 1969 to November, 1971 and from October, 1975 to April, 1978; and <br /> WHEREAS, John also contributed to the cultural enrichment of <br /> the community in his role as Director of Fine Arts at Canada Col- <br /> lege, where he helped nurture the musical talents of many local <br /> young musicians; and <br /> WHEREAS, John was also active in, and a leader of, profess- <br /> ional associations, including service as past president of the <br /> Music Association of California Community Colleges; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. This Council does hereby express its profound sadness <br /> upon the passing of John H. Krueger, and does further express its <br /> condolences to the family of John Krueger on behalf of the City <br /> of Redwood City and its citizens. <br /> 2.
