Proclamation honoring Redwood City Public Works Services employees Xavier Mercado <br /> and Kitione Taimani for their outstanding and decisive actions in averting a life <br /> threatening situation facing one of their co-workers; <br /> Mayor Pro Tern Howard read the proclamations and thanked Xavier Mercado and <br /> Kitione Taimani for their quick thinking and aggressive actions in saving the life of their <br /> colleague. She said their actions honored the City of Redwood City and they certainly <br /> were to be admired.
