ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> FOR <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> THIS <br /> AGREEMENT, made and entered into this <br /> <br />20 nd between THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY/REDWOOD CITY 2020 <br /> <br /> ("Redwood City 2020"), and Redwood City School District/Healthy Start of <br /> Redwood City, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Redwood City/Redwood City 2020 proposes to <br /> contract with Redwood City School District/Healthy Start, in support of the <br /> Redwood City 2020 Early Learning and Family Support Program, (the <br /> "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Program, Redwood City 2020 requires <br /> professional services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform consulting <br />and related services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this <br />reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. Redwood City 2020 shall <br />compensate Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in an <br />amount based upon project rates as outlined in the Early and Family Support <br /> <br />Agmt-400 Form 1 <br />F:\shared\Redwood\Council <br />FXS:djk <br />09~07~00 <br /> <br /> <br />
