<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />YOUR HOUSE SOUTH REHABILITATION <br /> <br />(YOUTH AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE) <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />, 1998, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, (City), and YOUTH AND FAMILY <br /> <br />ASSISTANCE, a California non-profit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor conducts an emergency housing program for <br /> <br />homeless youth for residents of the City (the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br /> <br />improve a facility to conduct the Program for residents of City during the fiscal <br /> <br />year commencing July 1,1997, and ending June 30,1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to <br /> <br />Contractor the sum of Twenty Five Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($25,000.00) <br /> <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1 . Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of <br /> <br />Twenty Five Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($25,000.00) for exclusive use by <br /> <br />Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, <br /> <br />1998, solely for the purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br />Agreement-2 <br />4/27/98 <br /> <br />1 <br />
