FXS:djk 12/11/95 (049/41) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 1/8/96 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12676 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION VACATING A PORTION OF BEECH <br /> STREET (SOUTHWESTERLY OF HILTON STREET) IN THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY PURSUANT TO PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, <br /> CALIFORNIA STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE; SETTING TIME AND <br /> PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR <br /> OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; AND ORDERING <br /> POSTING OF NOTICE THEREOF <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a portion of Beech Street (to wit: a 13 foot wide <br /> <br />by 100 foot long strip, southwesterly of Hilton Street) in the <br />City of Redwood City, heretofore dedicated to public use, which <br />portion is more particularly described in Exhibit "A" and <br />depicted on Exhibit "B" hereof, which Exhibits are attached <br />hereto and by this reference incorporated is unnecessary for <br />present or prospective use; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 <br />(commencing with §8300) of the Streets and Highways Code, the <br />Council of the City of Redwood City intends to vacate said street <br />easement subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit "C" hereof, <br /> <br />attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby declares its intention to vacate, <br />subject to the conditions listed on Exhibit C, that portion of <br />Beech Street (to wit: a 13 foot wide by 100 foot long strip, <br />southwesterly of Hilton Street) comprised of all that certain <br />real property located in the City of Redwood City, County of San <br />Mateo, California, more particularly described in Exhibit A and <br />depicted on Exhibit B, and hereby elects to proceed with such <br /> <br /> <br />
