MSR: jp:12/16/77 RESOLUTION NO. 7996 ORIGINAL RESOLUTION APPROVING FORM AGREEMENTS RELATING TO FEB 6 1978 PARTICIPATION IN PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS , AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF WHEREAS , by Resolution No. 7831, adopted June 27, 1977 , the Council of the City of Redwood City did approve and authorize execution of agreements between the County of San Mateo and the City of Redwood City, relating to the City' s Public Service Employment (CETA, Titles II and VI) Program; and WHEREAS , among the obligations of the City under said agree- ments are the obligations to "initiate, undertake, and otherwise provide for projects of the public service employment and man- power training which will benefit eligible persons residing within the boundaries of City by increasing their employability and opportunity for full-time, unsubsidized employment. Such public service employment may be provided by City and other participat- ing public or non-profit agencies" ; and WHEREAS , in furtherance of the above obligations agreement forms have been presented to this Council providing for the participation of public or private non-profit agencies in public service employment projects within the City of Redwood City pursuant to (CETA, Titles II and VI) ; and WHEREAS , it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said agreement forms and authorize their execution; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS : Those agreements entitled "Agreement for Participation in Public Service Employment Projects , " and "Agreement for Participation in the Public Service Employment Program, " copies of which are on file in the office of the City Manager are hereby approved as to their respective form, and the City Manager 7996
