CGM:dp: 1/18/78 <br /> �j� 99 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 1` 1 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE WEED FEB 6 1918 <br /> ERADICATION PROGRAM IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS <br /> THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS , Redwood City Code Chapter 14 provides for a procedure <br /> whereby the eradication of undesirable vegetation in the City is <br /> to be accomplished; and <br /> WHEREAS , in order to accomplish such weed abatement program <br /> within the City of Redwood City, it is necessary and desirable <br /> that certain spraying and disking work be performed for the <br /> control and eradication of undesirable vegetation; and <br /> WHEREAS , specifications for such work have been prepared by <br /> the City Engineer; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1. Those certain specifications entitled "Specifications <br /> and General Requirements to Bidders for Weed Eradication - 1978 - <br /> in the City of Redwood City - California, " a copy of which is <br /> presently on file in the office of the Department of Public Works , <br /> are hereby approved. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> advertise for bids for the performance of the work of weed eradica- <br /> tion in accordance with the above mentioned specifications therefor, <br /> said advertisement to be in the form of that certain Notice to <br /> Contractors as set forth in the above mentioned specifications. <br /> 7 993 <br />
