' _� � <br /> CGM:jp:l/17/78 <br /> RE SOLUT I ON NO. 7987 Original <br /> <br /> JAN 2 3, 1978 <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTTNG BID RECEIVED FOR THE CON- <br /> STRUCTION OF UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC AND TELEPHONE <br /> SERVICE CONNECTIONS SERVED FROA4 EL CAMINO REAL IN <br /> UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 73--1 (SERVICE <br /> UNDERGROUNDING) Z�ND DIRECTING THE RETURN OF SECURITY <br /> DEPOSIT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 7922 , adopted November <br /> 7, 1977, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction <br /> of underground electric and telephone service connections <br /> serviced from El Camino Real in Underground Utility District <br /> No. 73-1 for the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the call one bid was received and <br /> filed with the City Clerk for the construction of such under- <br /> ground electric and telephone service connections; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> to reject the bid received pursuant to said call, and to <br /> authorize and direct the City Clerk to return the security <br /> deposit received; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> l. The bid received under date of December 6, 1977 , by <br /> the City of Redwood City �or the construction of underground <br /> electric and telephone service connections, pursuant to call <br /> for bids authorized by Resolution No. 7922 is hereby rejected. <br /> 2.
