P- 2262 <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING CONSULTANTS, PROVIDING <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO CONTRACTS AND DIRECTING <br /> STAFF TO TAKE CERTAIN ACTIONS IN CONNECTION WITH THE <br /> REFUNDING OF OUTSTANDING REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 1999 <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Port Commissioners of the Port Department of the City <br /> of Redwood City wishes to issue revenue bonds (the "2015 Bonds") for the purpose of <br /> refunding the outstanding Port of Redwood City Revenue Bonds, Series 1999 (the <br /> "1999 Bonds"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Port Commissioners desires to appoint William <br /> Euphrat Municipal Finance, Inc., San Francisco, California, as municipal advisor for the <br /> 2015 Bonds; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Port Commissioners desires to appoint Jones Hall, A <br /> Professional Law Corporation, San Francisco, California, as bond counsel for the 2015 <br /> Bonds; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Port Commissioners wishes to direct staff to prepare all <br /> necessary proceedings and documentation for the proposed refinancing and wishes to <br /> authorize the Executive Director to select the method of financing, subject to <br /> consultation with the financial advisor and bond counsel; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The above recitals are true and correct. <br /> 2. The Board of Port Commissioners hereby acknowledges receipt of the <br /> proposal of the firm of William Euphrat Municipal Finance, Inc. to act as municipal <br /> advisor to the Board of Port Commissioners in connection with the issuance of the 2015 <br /> Bonds.
