CTTY DURING SAID FTSCAL YEAR, TO MA.IPITAIN THE WAR <br /> MEMORIAI, VETERANS HALL BUILDING, TO PRC?VIDE FUNDS FOR THE <br /> � RETIREMENT PLAN, AND TO PROVIDE FOR CAPITAL IMPR�VEMENTS; <br /> AND FIXING AND LEVYZNG THE TAX RATE THEREFOR <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION l. The total amount of money to be raixed by tax- <br /> ation upon the ta�.ble property within the City of Redwood City to <br /> provide revenue to meet the general munieipal expenses and to carry <br /> on the various departraen�s of said City for the fiscal year <br /> July 1, 196o-June 30, 1g61; to pay the interest and principal upon <br /> all of the outstand3.ng bounded indebtedness of said City, due and <br /> becoming payable during said fiscal year; to ma.intain the public <br /> library of said City during said fiscal year; �o provide for the <br /> expansion, maintenance, and operat3.on of' the buildings and grounds <br /> of the Ve�erans ,Memorial of said City; to provide funds for the <br /> City� s contributian to the retirement plan voted at the municipal <br /> election on April 9, 19�+0; and, to provide for the acquisit3on and <br /> construction of permanent improvements, real property, public <br /> buildings and structures, and public offices, including equipping <br /> and furnishin$ of �he same; is hereby fixed at the total sum of <br /> One Million, Six Hundred Forty=four Thousand, Eight Hundred Ten <br /> Dollars �$1,64�+,810.00) . <br /> SECTION 2.
