. . _ � ,....��. <br /> y ' <br /> RJC.ek 10/16/61-7 <br /> Y ` w l'������ <br /> O R D I N A N C E N O. <br /> �1 {��,:3 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REI)UCING BUDGETARY APFROPRIATION FOR <br /> TI� FISGAL YEAR 1961-1962 FROM SALES TAX CAFITAL <br /> OUTLAY FUND FOR FURP'OSE OF LAND ACQUISITTON FROM <br /> $170,�00 TO $110,000 AND APPROI�RIATING THE SUM OF <br /> $60,000 FROM TF�: SALES TAX CAFITAL OUTLAY FUND FOR <br /> THE P'URPOSE OF DESIGNING, ENGINEERIIaTG AND CQNSTRUCTION <br /> (�' A BRANCH PUBLIC LIBRARY AND COMMUNTTY SOCIAL AND <br /> CULTURP,L BUILDING AT STAFFORD FARK, REDWOOD CITY <br /> WI�REA�, the offica.al budget of the City of Redwood City for <br /> the fiacal year July l, 1961-June 30, 1962 contains an appropria- <br /> tion from the Sales T� Capital Outlay Fund for the purpose of <br /> land acquisition in the total sum of one hundred seventy thousand <br /> dollars {$170,000) ; and, <br /> WE�REA�, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> reduce this appropriation by the sum of sixty thousand dollars <br /> ($60,000) and appropriate said sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) <br /> for the purpose of designing, engineering and constructing a <br /> branch public library and community social and cultural building <br /> or buildings at Stafford Park, Redwood City; <br /> N�, TF�REFORE; <br /> THE Cf3UNCIL OF RED�100D CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLL(�1S: <br /> SECTION l. That certain appropriation set forth in the <br /> final certified budget of the City of Redwood City for the fiscal <br /> year July 1, 1961-June 30, 1962, from the "Sales Tax Capital Outlay <br /> Fund" for "Land Acquisition" in the total amount of one hundred <br /> seventy thousand dollars ($170, 000) is hereby reduced by the <br /> amount of sixty thousand dollaxs ($60,000) , leaving a net total <br /> appropriation fro� the "Sales Ta�c Capital outlay Fund" for "Land <br /> .� <br /> Acquisition" of one hundred ten thousand dollars ($110,000) . <br /> � SECTION 2. The sum of sixty thousand dollars ($64,000) , <br /> resulting from the reduction provided for in Section 1 hereof, <br /> is hereby appropriated from the "Sales Ta�c �apital Outlay Fund" <br /> for the purpose of designing, engineering and construction of a <br /> branch public library and community social and cultural building <br /> or buildings at Stafford Park, in the City of Redwood City. <br /> * * �c <br />
