Pursuant to the provisions of Section 22 of <br /> the Charter of the City of Redwood City, the offices of the <br /> City Clerk, the City Treasurer and the City Collector are <br /> hereby consolidated. <br /> SECTION 2. Any person appointed to such consolidated office <br /> shall exercise and perform all powers, functions and duties as <br /> are prescribed by Sections 32, 34 and 36 0� the Charter, or as <br /> are atherwise prescribed by the Charter or any ordinance or <br /> resolution, in the same manner as if such offices were not con- <br /> solidated. <br /> SECTION 3. The person appointed to the consolidated posi- <br /> tion of City Clerk and City Treasurer on the effective date of <br /> this ordinance is hereby appointed to the position created by <br /> this ordinance. <br /> SECTION 4. The provisions of Ordinance No. 445 shall not <br /> be applicable to the City Collector so long as such office is <br /> consolidated with the office of the City Clerk. <br /> SECTION 5. Ordinance No. 308, entitled �An Ordinance <br /> Consolidating the Duties of City Clerk and City Treasurer, "° <br /> adopted February 17, 1930, as amended to date, is hereby <br /> repealed. <br /> SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be effectide 30 days <br /> after its adoption. <br /> * * * <br />
