_ REG:yc: 9/17/62-7 <br /> ��/y�(E�� <br /> � ,,.. � ���,� <br /> O R D I N A N C E N O. <br /> ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $18,568 FROM <br /> THE 1944 CITY PLAN BOND FUND, THE SUM OF $?,432 <br /> FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED BI�LANCE OF THE SALES TAX <br /> CAPITAL OUTLAY FUND, AND THE SUM OF $14,000 FROM <br /> THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF IN- <br /> STALLING DR.AINAGE FACILITIES IN THE VICINITY OF <br /> THE PROPOSED WOODSIDE ROAD EXPRES�WAY <br /> WI�REA�, the City Manager has recommended to the Council that <br /> the sum of Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00) be made available <br /> for the installation of certain storm water facilities in the <br /> vicinity of the proposed Woodside Road Expressway and has recom- <br /> mended that the City execute an agreement with the �tate of <br /> California providing for the use of said funds by the State for <br /> the installation and construction of said drainage facilities; and <br /> WI�REAS, this Council, by its Resolution No. 3799, adopted <br /> August 27, 1962, did express its "intention to make such funds <br /> available and to execute said agreement; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE ; <br /> , THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> l. That the sum of Eighteen Thousand Five Hundred Sixty- <br /> Eight Dollars ($18,568.00) is hereby appropriated from the 1944 <br /> City Plan Bond Fund, the sum of Seven Thousand Four Hundred <br /> Thirty-two Dollars ($7,432.00) is hereby appropriated from the <br /> unappropriated balance of the Sales Tax Capital Outlay Fund, and <br /> the sum of Fourteen Thousand Dollars ($14,000.00) is hereby ap- <br /> propriated from the Capital Projects Fund for the purpose of <br /> installing or acquiring the following drainage facilities: <br /> The construction and installation of a storm <br /> drainage system within the Woodside Expressway <br /> right of way from Shasta Street North to Broadway <br /> as shown on the plan for the Bay Road Area Storm <br /> Drainage Facilities, prepared for the City of <br /> Redwood City by Paul Adamson in 1962. The con- <br /> struction and installation of connection to <br /> existing 27 inch storm drain line in Bayshore <br /> Freeway and bypass line at future pumping <br /> station site. <br /> � <br />
