R� :.~+.�F� <br /> O R D I N A N C E N O. � <br /> ORDINANCE ADDING SECTIOI�TS 1.5 A�,'�'!7 <br /> 2.5 TO ORDINANCE NO. 633 FtELATII+7� <br /> TO �OLICITORS AND PEDDLERS <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 3ECTION l. section 1.5 is hereby added to Ordinance <br /> No. 633, entitled "An Ordinance Regulating the Carrying on and <br /> O,peration of the Business or Occupation of Solicitors and Ped� <br /> dlers," adopted November 21, 1949, to read as follows: <br /> "Section 1.5 No person shall solicit or peddle <br /> within the City unless he first obtains an identifieation <br /> permit to do so from the Chief of Police, as provided in <br /> this ordinance. Such permit sha11 be in addition to any <br /> business license required." <br /> SECTION 2. Section 2.5 is hereby added to the above men-» <br /> tioned Ordinance No. 633 to read as follows: <br /> "�ection 2.5 Every application for an identifica-- <br /> tion permit shall be accompanied by a nonrefundable <br /> processing fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00) . In the ease of <br /> applications by solicitors who furnish evidence satisfactory <br /> to the Chief of Police that they are engaged solely in <br /> interstate commerce, no fee shall be required." <br /> �ECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after <br /> its adoption. <br /> * * * <br />
