1/25/2016 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15471 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> APPROVING A BUDGET AMENDMENT TO APPROPRIATE <br /> $450,000 FROM THE REDWOOD CITY GENERAL FUND TO <br /> INCREASE THE CITY ATTORNEY BUDGET FOR ATTORNEY <br /> FEES <br /> WHEREAS, the City is in need of legal services due to the need to appoint <br /> an acting city attorney and for defense costs associated with new litigation, <br /> Citizens for the Public Trust, et al. v. City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, by motion, the City Council has approved the wok <br /> contemplated for the acting city attorney services and the defense legal services <br /> for the new litigation; and <br /> WHEREAS, City Attorney's Office has requested that the City Council <br /> approve an appropriation from the General Fund to increase the City Attorney <br /> Budget for Attorney Fees in the amount of Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars <br /> ($450,000) for the purposes of these additional legal services. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> The sum of Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($450,000) shall be <br /> transferred from the General Fund to the City Attorney Budget and shall be <br /> appropriated for Attorney Fees for additional legal services. <br /> * * * <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br /> ATTY/RE50.0007/LEGAL PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT AND RELATED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS <br /> Reso.#15471 <br /> REV:01-19-16 VR MUFF#304 <br />
