O R D I N A N C E <br /> N 0 . 760 <br /> AMENDING ORDINANCE NO . 689 RELATING TO <br /> OFFICE HOURS FOR CITY OFFICES <br /> THE COUNCIL OF RED jiOOD CITY DO ORDAIN AS FOLLGWS : <br /> Section 1 . Ordinance No . 689 entitled "Fixing Office <br /> Hours for City Offices , " passed and adopted by the Council <br /> of Redwood City on December 17 , 1951 , as amended , is hereby <br /> amended as follows : <br /> ( a ) Section 2 thereof is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows : <br /> Section 2 . The office of the City Assessor in the <br /> judgment and discretion of the Assessor may be kept <br /> open during the hours of 8 o ' clock a . m. to 12 o ' clock <br /> noon on any Saturday when the proper conduct of his <br /> office so requires . <br /> ( b ) Section 3 of said ordinance is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows : <br /> Section 3 . The office of the City Collector may be <br /> open for the transaction of business during the hours <br /> of 8 o ' clock a . m. to 12 o ' clock noon on any Saturday <br /> which in the judgment and discretion of the City <br /> Collector is necessary for the proper conduct of the <br /> business of that office . <br /> Section 2 . This ordinance shall be effective thirty <br /> ( 30 ) days after its adoption . <br />
