O R D I N A N C E N O . <br /> AEC : yc : 6 /29 /59 - 50 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING <br /> THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY OF CER- <br /> TAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED "LESLIE AN- <br /> NEXATION NO . 2 , " AND HEREIN DESCRIBED , AND HEREIN <br /> ANNEXING SAID TERRITORY TO SAID CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS : <br /> WHEREAS , on the 2nd day of April , 1959 , the Council of the <br /> City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No . 2679 giving notice <br /> of , and declaring its intention to , initiate upon its own motion <br /> proceedings to annex to the City of Redwood City all of the ter- <br /> ritory designated as "Leslie Annexation No . 2 " ; and <br /> WHEREAS , this Council has received evidence showing, and <br /> has found , and again finds , that a written description of the <br /> proposal to annex said territory to the City of Redwood City was <br /> filed with the Secretary of the Boundary Commission of San Mateo <br /> County , California , on March 26 , 1959 , and that said Boundary Com- <br /> mission has prepared , or caused to be prepared , a report on said <br /> annexation proposal as required by law, and that said Boundary <br /> Commission has approved the boundaries of said proposed annexa- <br /> tion ; and has received evidence showing, and has found, and again <br /> finds , that the aforementioned action of the Council initiating <br /> the annexation of the herein described territory , upon its own <br />
