RESOLUTION NO. 16-14 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY <br /> COUNCIL APPROVE A HISTORIC PRESERVATION <br /> AGREEMENT FOR 406 STAMBAUGH STREET <br /> WHEREAS, on June 9, 2016, the Historic Resources Advisory Committee <br /> considered and recommended that a Historic Property Preservation Agreement <br /> (also known as a Mills Act Contract) with Yuchun Xu and Shang Song <br /> (collectively, Applicant) be approved for 406 Stambaugh Street; and <br /> WHEREAS, said property was previously designated as an historic <br /> landmark on July 2, 1984; and <br /> WHEREAS, on September 6, 2016, the Planning Commission held a duly <br /> noticed public hearing and considered public comments, the application and <br /> report from the applicant and owner of the subject property, the recommendation <br /> of the Historic Resources Advisory Committee, and staff reports; and <br /> WHEREAS, said property and applicant do qualify for a Historic <br /> Preservation Agreement; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Redwood City and the <br /> residents therein, that a preservation agreement be approved to assist in the <br /> restoration and preservation of such property. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The above recitals constitute the findings of the Planning <br /> Commission in this matter. <br /> Section 2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends that the City <br /> Council approve a Historic Property Preservation Agreement for said property. <br /> Section 3.
