ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT, <br /> COMMUNITY OVERCOMING RELATIONSHIP ABUSE (CORA) <br /> (Emergency Shelter) <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of <br /> 2016 , by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br /> corporation of the State of California ("City") and COMMUNITY OVERCOMING <br /> RELATIONSHIP ABUSE (CORA) , a California nonprofit organization <br /> ("Contractor"; collectively the "Parties") . <br /> WITNESSETH : <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides certain services through programs, <br /> including the program described in Exhibits "A" ("Program & Quantitative Goals") , <br /> and "B" ("Program Budget") , attached hereto and made a part hereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br /> conduct the program described in Exhibit A for residents of City during the fiscal <br /> year commencing July 1 , 2016 , and ending June 30, 2017 (the "Fiscal Year") ; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> 1 . FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE . City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br /> Sixteen Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty Four Dollars ($16 ,834.00) for exclusive <br /> use by Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1 , 2016, and ending <br /> June 30, 2017 , solely for the purposes described in Paragraph 2 . <br /> 2 . USE OF FUNDS. Contractor will use the funds provided pursuant to <br /> Paragraph 1 solely for the Project objectives described in Exhibit A and Exhibit B , <br /> attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein . <br /> 3 . CHANGES TO PROJECT.
