S4 D <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING <br />SERVICES - UNDERGROUNDING OF PUBLIC UTILITY FACILITIES <br />- WOODSIDE EXPRESSWAY IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires certain electrical <br />and consulting services relating to the undergrounding of public <br />utility facilities in connection with the proposed improvement <br />and construction of the Woodside Expressway in the City of <br />Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, CARL P. MARTINEAU, JR., Consulting Electrical <br />Engineer, has represented to the City of Redwood City that he <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid engineering and consulting <br />services; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and Carl P. Martineau, Jr., <br />desire to enter into an agreement for Carl P. Martineau, Jr., to <br />furnish the City of Redwood City with the aforesaid engineering <br />and consulting services; and <br />WHEREAS, funds have heretofore been appropriated for the <br />aforesaid services; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement between the City of Redwood City and <br />Carl P. Martineau, Jr., entitled "Agreement for Consulting <br />Services (Electrical Engineering-Undergrounding) Woodside <br />Expressway," copies of which are presently on file in the office <br />of the City Clerk, to which copies reference is hereby made, is <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to <br />execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />
