DES:yc: 2/6/68 <br />RE SOLUT I ON NO. 56oL <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE WEED <br />ERADICATION PROGRAM IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND <br />AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City Code Chapter 14 provides for a proce- <br />dure whereby the eradication of undesirable vegetation in the <br />City is to be accomplished; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to accomplish such weed abatement program <br />within the City of Redwood City, it is necessary and desirable <br />that certain spraying and disking work be performed for the <br />control and eradication of undesirable vegetation; and <br />WHEREAS, specifications for such work have been prepared <br />by the City Engineer; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain specifications entitled "Specifications <br />and General Requirements to Bidders for Weed Eradication - 1968, <br />Redwood City, California," a copy of which is presently on file <br />in the office of the Department of Public Works, are hereby <br />approved. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />advertise for bids for the performance of the work of weed <br />eradication in accordance with the above mentioned specifications <br />therefor, said advertisement to be in the form of that certain <br />Notice to Contractors as set forth in the above mentioned <br />specifications. <br />
