DES: yc: 2/8/68 <br />RESOLUTION No. /0 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PURCHASE <br />OF GASOLINE FOR THE PERIOD MARCH 1, 1968 -FEBRUARY 28, <br />1969; AND AUTHORIZING CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the operation of City vehicles <br />it is necessary to enter into a contract for the supplying of <br />gasoline for the period March 1, 1968 through February 28, 1969; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, specifications for the types of, and estimated <br />amounts of, gasoline required for such period have been prepared <br />by the City Manager; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain specifications for gasoline to be used <br />by the City of Redwood City for the period March 1, 1968 through <br />February 28, 1969, prepared by the City Manager and on file in <br />the office of the City Clerk, are hereby approved. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />advertise for bids for the furnishing of said gasoline in accor- <br />dance with the specifications therefor, said advertisement to be <br />in the form of that certain "Notice of Sealed Bids" set forth <br />in the above mentioned specifications. <br />
