<br /> - 1/06/92 (014/10) <br /> DES:dft- <br /> o RIG I N A L 1/25/93 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2059 <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 20.95, 39.1 AND 39.10 <br />OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING <br />TO REMOVAL OF ABANDONED VEHICLES <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 20.95 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 20.95. (a) No person who owns or has <br />possession,; 'custody or control of any vehicle shall park <br />such vehicle upon a street, alley, parking lot or highway <br />owned or leased by, or under the vehicular regulatory <br />jurisdiction of, the City for more than a consecutive period <br />of one hundred twenty (120) hours. <br /> (b) In the event a vehicle is parked or left standing <br />upon a street or highway in excess of a consecutive period <br />of one hundred twenty (120 ) hours, any member of the Police <br />Department authorized by the Chief of Police may remove the <br />vehicle from the street or highway in the manner and subject <br />to the requirements of Section 22650 et seq., of the Vehicle <br />Code of the State of California." <br />SECTION 2. Section 39.1 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 39.l. Findings. In addition to and in <br />accordance with the determination made and the authority <br />granted by the State of California under Section 22660 (as <br />said section now exists, or from time to time may be <br />amended) of the Vehicle Code to remove abandoned, wrecked, <br />- <br />
