M ..~. ~ ~ . ~ .: <...... <br /> No.2030 NOV 0 5 1990 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2030 <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 10.2 THROUGH 10.9, <br />INCLUSIVE, OF CHAPTER 10 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO EMERGENCY AND DISASTER <br />RELIEF <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION l. Sections 10.2 through 10.9, inclusive, of the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City are hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br />"Section 10.2. Definitions. For purposes of this <br />Chapter, the following words or terms shall have the meanings <br />respectively ascribed thereto: <br />'Curfew' means a prohibition against any person or persons <br />being or remaining in any alley, street, highway, road, park, <br />playground, pathway or sidewalk or other public ground or <br />building or place of public amusement or entertainment, or <br />other public property or vacant premises within the <br />geographical area to which a general curfew is ordered <br />applicable. <br />'Director' means the Director of Emergency Services as <br />specified in Section 10.5. <br />'Disaster Advisory Committee' means the Committee <br />specified and established pursuant to Section 10.3. <br />'Local Emergency' means the duly proclaimed existence of <br />conditions of disaster or of extreme peril to the safety of <br />persons and property within the territorial limits of the City <br />caused by such conditions as air pollution, fire, flood, storm, <br />epidemic, riot, drought, sudden and severe emergency energy <br />shortage, plant or animal infestation or disease, the warning <br /> - ....".~-~.~ <br />
