<br /> - DES:mIT!Q OS/25/88 (025/7) <br /> JUN 1 9 1989 <br /> 1998 Oí)!GP\!AI <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1998 <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 29.15 AND 29.20 OF THE CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO DEFINITIONS <br />PERTAINING TO REGULATIONS GOVERNING CONSTRUCTION OF <br />SIDEWALKS AND DRIVEWAYS, AND STANDARDS FOR RESIDENTIAL <br />DRIVEWAYS, RESPECTIVELY <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 29.15 of the Redwood City Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 29.15. Definitions. For the purposes of this <br />article, the following words and phrases shall have the <br />meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section: <br /> (a) 'Abandoned Driveway' means any driveway for which <br /> there appears to be no immediate reasonable use as <br /> such, or where the use or conditions of the <br /> abutting property has been so changed that the <br /> driveway is no longer needed. <br /> (b) 'Driveway' means any approach to or from a street <br /> over and upon an adjacent gutter, curb, parking <br /> strip, or sidewalk permitting vehicular traffic <br /> into the abutting property. <br /> (c) 'Zoning Ordinance' means Ordinance No. 1130, the <br /> Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, as said Ordinance <br /> currently exists or may be amended, revised, or <br /> superseded from time to time." <br />SECTION 2. Section 29.20 of the Redwood City Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br />._- <br />
