<br /> DAS:d 11/22/88 (#008/7) <br /> 199 k ORIGINAL FEB 2.., 1989 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1988 <br /> --------- . - <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 13.1 AND 13.2 OF, REPEALING <br />AND ADDING ARTICLE IX OF, AND ADDING ARTICLE X TO <br />CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE <br />POSTING OF SIGNS WARNING OF THE EFFECT OF ALCOHOL <br />DURING PREGNANCY <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 13.1 of Chapter 13 of the Code of <br />Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 13.I. Purpose. The purpose of this chapter <br />is to establish standards for restaurants, itinerant <br />restaurants, mobile food vendors, caterers, food equipment, <br />public fresh water sports areas, wells, backflow prevention <br />devices, chemical toilets and rodent and insect control <br />complementary to those imposed by the California Health and <br />Safety Code and to the rules and regulations promulgated <br />thereunder by the state department of health; and to require <br />warning signs to be placed at all locations in the city <br />where alcoholic beverages are sold to the public." <br />SECTION 2. Section 13.2 of Chapter 13 of the Code of <br />Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 13.2. Responsibility for Enforcement. The <br />Director of Health Services of San Mateo County shall be <br />responsible for the enforcement of this chapter in the City <br />of Redwood City. The Director of Health Services of San <br />Mateo County and his designated representatives shall be <br />referred to hereinafter as the 'health officer'". <br /> 198 R <br /> _.... <br />
