<br /> SWC:rb 11/01/83 <br /> ':::rb 11/04/83R <br /> 1885 NOV 21 1983 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1885 <br /> --------- ORIGINAL <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.95.2; AND ADDING DIVISION <br />8 (COMMENCING WITH SECTION 20.175) AND DIVISION 9 <br />(COMMENCING WITH SECTION 20.184) TO CHAPTER 20, ARTICLE <br />VII OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, REGULATING <br />UNMETERED OFFSTREET PARKING FACILITIES <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 20.95.2 of the Code of the City of <br />Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 20.95.2. Parking Bail Schedules. For all <br />vehicle code violations and for all parking violations <br />(other than those listed in Sections 20.95.1, 20.123.5, <br />20. 127 and 20. 190) , the following procedure shall apply: <br /> " (a) It shall be the duty of each police officer or <br />parking enforcement deputy to take the state vehicle license <br />of such vehicle; the time, place, and date of such <br />violation; and make of such vehicle; and issue, in writing, <br />a citation for illegal parking in the same form and subject <br />to the same procedure provided for by the laws of the state <br />applicable to traffic violations within the City. <br /> " (b) Any operator or owner of a vehicle to whom a <br />citation has been issued in accordance with the preceding <br />subsection may, within fifteen (15 ) days of the time of the <br />issuance of such citation, pay to the appropriate court, as <br />a penalty for and full satisfaction of such violation, the <br />sum of ten dollars ($10.00) plus applicable surcharges <br />established by resolution.
