<br /> CGM:rb 8/17/83 <br /> ;M: r b 8/25/83R <br /> CGM:djg-c 9/19/83R <br /> ORIGI NAL <br /> SEP 2 6 1983 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1880 SEP 26 1983 <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE ADDING DIVISION 4 (COMMENCING WITH SECTION <br />2.130) TO CHAPTER 2 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE <br />SENIOR AFFAIRS COMMISSION <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Division 4 is hereby added to the code of the <br />City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br />"Section 2.130. There is hereby established a senior <br />affairs commission which shall consist of seven (7 ) members <br />appointed by the council. At least four (4 ) such members shall <br />be persons active in, and representative of, one or more of the <br />following fields of endeavor: <br /> (a) senior citizens' planning; <br /> (b) provision of senior citizens' services; <br /> (c) senior clubs or senior associations. <br />At least one such member shall be representative of a minority <br />ethnic group in the city. All such members shall be persons who <br />have demonstrated a deep interest in, and appreciation of, senior <br />citizen matters within the city. All such members shall, at the <br />time of their appointment and continuously during their <br />incumbency, be residents and electors of the city. <br /> 1 880 <br /> .- ""."'" .W <br />
