BJR <br />Rid <br />8/19/82 <br />ORDINANCE <br />— — — — — — — — — <br />1865 <br />-------- <br />Q I <br />SEP 131982 <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY <br />TO <br />BE RAISED <br />BY <br />SPECIAL ASSESSMENT TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR <br />PARKING <br />DISTRICT <br />NO. 1, AND FIXING AND LEVYING THE SPECIAL <br />ASSESSMENT <br />RATE THEREFOR <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. The amount of Twenty -Nine Thousand Five Hundred <br />Twenty -Seven and No/100 ($29,527.00) is hereby fixed as a special ad <br />valorem assessment in accordance with paragraph 29(a) and 30 of <br />Resolution No. 1894 adopted by the City Council of the City of Redwood <br />City on July 11, 1955, for the payment of principal and interest on <br />Municipal Improvement Bonds, Series 55-1, and for deposit in the <br />Off -Street Parking District No. 1, Interest and Redemption Fund, and <br />the special ad valorem rate therefore is hereby levied and fixed at <br />$.1160 on each One Hundred Dollars of the assessed value of all <br />taxable real property within the limits of Parking District No. 1, as <br />established by Resolution No. 1827, adopted by the Council of the City <br />of Redwood City on February 7, 1955, together with all territory <br />thereafter annexed thereto. <br />SECTION 2. REPEAL. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br />conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3. TRANSMITTAL_ TO COUNTY. The City Clerk is hereby <br />------------------ -- ------ <br />directed to transmit certified copies of this ordinance to the Auditor <br />of the County of San Mateo in accordance with Section 51551 of the <br />Government Code and to such other County officials as may find it <br />convenient or necessary to utilize this ordinance. <br />SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
