JPF/JR <br />8/1.1/81 <br />0 R D I N A N C E 1844 ORIGINAL <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY TO BE RAISED SEP 14 1981 <br />BY SPECIAL ASSESSMENT TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR PARKING <br />DISTRICT NO. 1, AND FIXING AND LEVYING THE SPECIAL <br />ASSESSMENT RATE THEREFORE <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. The amount of Twenty -Six Thousand Eight Hundred <br />Forty -Three Dollars ($26,843.00) is hereby fixed as a special ad <br />valorem assessment in accordance with paragraph 29(a) and 30 of <br />Resolution No. 1894 adopted by the City Council of the City of <br />Redwood City on July 11, 1955, for the payment of principal and <br />interest on Municipal Improvement Bonds, Series 55-1, and for <br />deposit in the Off -Street Parking District No. 1, Interest and <br />Redemption Fund, and the special ad valorem rate therefore is hereby <br />levied and fixed at $0.1250 on each One Hundred Dollars of the <br />assessed value of all taxable real property within the limits of <br />Parking District No. 1, as established by Resolution No. 1808, <br />adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City on December 20, <br />1954, and as confirmed by Resolution No. 1827, adopted by the <br />Council of the City of Redwood City on February 7, 1955, together <br />with all territory thereafter_ annexed thereto. <br />SECTION 2. REPEAL. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br />conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3. TRANSMITTAL TO COUNTY. The City Clerk is hereby <br />directed to transmit certified copies of this ordinance to the <br />Auditor of the County of San Mateo in accordance with Sectior, 51551 <br />of the Government Code and to such other County officials as may <br />find it convenient or necessary to utilize this ordinance. <br />SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. This ordinance shall take <br />effect anO he in force upon its adoption. <br />1844 <br />
