<br /> 1<1S R : d p : 1/19/7 8 <br /> ORIGP,¡t: ! <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1740 <br /> ~ º-.-1 74 0 II '<I.L <br /> --------- <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1696 FEB 6 1978 <br /> ESTABLISHING SALARY AND WAGE PLAN FOR CERTAIN DESIGNATED <br /> EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; TO ADJUST THE <br /> HOURLY WAGE RATES FOR THE POSITIONS OF FIRE FIGHTER <br /> TRAINEE, POLICE OFFICER TRAINEE, AND CIVIL ENGINEERING <br /> TECHNICIAN TRAINEE <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION l. Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1696, entitled, "An <br />Ordinance Establishing a Salary and Wage Plan for Certain Designated <br />Employees of the City of Redwood City; and Repealing Ordinance <br />No. 1621," adopted February 7, 1977, is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br />"Section 20. Employees appointed to positions in the <br /> following trainee classifications shall receive compensation <br /> computed by the hour, for the designated steps as follows: <br />" (a) Fire Fighter Trainee <br /> Steps (1 ) ( 2) (3) <br /> $4.70- $4.96- $5.21 per hour <br />" (b) Police Officer Trainee <br /> Steps ( 1) (2) ( 3) <br /> $4.70- $4.96- $5.21 per hour <br />" (c) Civil Engineering Technician Trainee <br /> Steps (1 ) ( 2) (3) <br /> $4.62- $4.78- $4.94 per hour" <br /> SECTION 2.
