<br /> DES:djk "7/20/93 (002/60) <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> A G R E E MEN T <br /> --------- <br /> REVENUE ENHANCEMENT AUDITS <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made~d entered into this 2~ day of <br /> ~ y <:\ CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> r"f"O ' 199', Y and between the <br />CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California, <br />("City") , and MUNICIPAL RESOURCE CONSULTANTS, a California <br />partnership, of Westlake Village, California ("Consultant") ; <br /> WIT N E SSE T H : <br /> WHEREAS, City requires revenue recovery audit services to <br />detect and correct omissions and errors from various tax revenue <br />sources; and <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the <br />experience, and is qualified to perform the aforesaid audit <br />services; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform <br />revenue enhancement and information services including, but not <br />limited to, sales tax audits, business license tax audits, <br />documentary transfer tax audits, franchise fees audits, property <br />tax audits, transient occupancy tax audits and utility users tax <br />audits, which services are more specifically described in Exhibit <br />"A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br />herein. <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />Consultant for all services described in paragraph 1 hereof, to <br />be performed by Consultant pursuant to this agreement on a <br />contingent fee basis.
