<br /> OR\G\Ni\l <br /> (11/27/95) <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> Emergency Hunger Fund <br /> ~~ <br />THIS AGREEMENT, m~d~~ entered into this day of <br />dcwwcv-Ò ' 199~, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Emergency Hunger Fund, a California <br />nonprofit corporation ("Contractor"); <br /> WIT N E SSE T H: <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides assistance with emergency short-term help to <br />individuals in the community, which includes food, clothing, shelter and gasoline; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the program <br />for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, <br />1996; and <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Thirteen-Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($13,000); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br />1 . FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Thirteen- <br />Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($13,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, 1996, solely for the purposes described <br />in paragraph 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor shall use the funds provided pursuant to paragraph 1 <br />solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibit "A" (Contract Objectives) attached hereto <br />and by this reference incorporated herein. <br />
