DeS:ab 10/22/87 (#0) <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> ENGINEERING REVIEW/PLAN CHECKING SERVICES <br /> LAKESHORE TOWNHOMES UNIT NO. 1 SUBDIVISION PROJECT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made this~ day of ~~, <br />1987, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, ("City") and KCA <br />ENGINEERS, INC. ("Consultant"); <br /> <br /> W I TN E S SETH : <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City requires certain review/plan checking services <br />for the Lakeshore Townhomes - Unit No. 1 Subdivision Project (the <br />"Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it is qualified to <br />furnish such services in accordance with the terms and conditions <br />hereinafter set forth; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall furnish plan <br />checking services for the Project as set forth in Consultant's <br />proposal dated October 13, 1987, items I through IV which <br />proposal is attached as "Exhibit A", and incorporated herein by <br />reference. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION. City shall compensate Consultant on the <br />basis of the rates set forth in "Exhibit A" provided, however, <br />that said compensation shall not exceed the total amount of <br />Twenty-three Thousand Six Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($23,600.00) <br />during the term hereof unless authorization be granted for <br />compensation in excess of said amount by motion duly made and <br />carried by City's City Council. <br /> <br /> <br />
