<br />ORiGiNAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Clara-Mateo Alliance, Inc. <br />Adult Shelter and Family Wing <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this I day of ~/) <br />2003, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Clara-Mateo Alliance, Inc., a California <br />nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides a homeless shelter; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the program described in the attached Exhibit B (Contract Objectives), which is <br />incorporated herein by this reference (the "Program"), for residents of City during the <br /> <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2004; and <br />WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed Contractor's request; finds that providing <br /> <br />the financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, desires to <br />allocate to Contractor the sum of Fifteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($15,000). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. <br /> <br />City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br /> <br />Fifteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($15,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2004, solely for the <br /> <br />purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br /> <br />USE OF FUNDS. <br /> <br />Contractor will use the funds provided pursuant to <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Paragraph 1 solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibits A (Budget) & B. <br /> <br />9/11/03 <br /> <br />""0 "'-""""""-'---"'-.'T . <br />
