DUPLICATE <br /> - '- -' ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA SM 101 p.O/6.0 117821 <br /> Department of Transportation <br /> <br /> Federal Aid No. Owner's File <br /> <br /> UTILITY AGREEMENT NO. 6 17 . 41 DATE <br /> <br />State of California, acting by and through the Department of Transportation, hereinafter called STATE proposes <br />to construct a sound wall on Route 101, from Santa Clara County Line to <br />0.4 mile north of Whipple Avenue in Redwood City a,d <br />REDWOOD CITY WATER DISTRICT <br />hereinafter called OWNER, owns and maintains various water mains within the freeway <br /> <br />pr o j ect within <br />the limits of State's project whieh require potholing to determine the exact location <br />~_nd qtepth of ~he water line <br /> to accommodate State's project. <br /> <br /> ltishereby mutuallyagreedthat: <br /> <br /> I. WORK TO BE DONE <br /> In accordance with Notice No. 617.41 dated December 10, 1987, Owner <br /> shall arrange to locate, by potholing or other proven acceptable <br /> method, the accurate vertical and horizontal location of underground <br /> water main facilities in potential conflict with State's freeway <br /> construction. Ail work shall be performed substantially in <br /> accordance with State's plans, consisting of six sheets, a copy of <br /> which is on file in the District Office of the Department of <br /> Transportation in San Francisco. Minor deviations from the above- <br /> described work may be made and incidental work performed by the Owner <br /> when mutually acceptable to both parties and upon approval by the <br /> State. <br /> <br /> II. LIABILITY FOR WORK <br /> The existing facilities described in I above will be potholed at 100% <br /> State expense. The existing facilities are lawfully maintained in <br /> their present location and qualify for relocation at State expense <br /> under the provisions of Section 703 of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> Total Flat Sum Cost $1,723.88 <br /> State's Liability at 100% $1,723.88 <br /> <br /> I of :3 <br /> <br /> <br />
