<br />DES: d-'" <br /> <br />01/18/93 <br /> <br />(039/34) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />1/25/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11932 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUT~ON OF LEASE <br />AGREEMENT FOR XEROX EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this Council hereby waives the procedure for the <br /> <br />solicitation of bids, <br /> <br />pursuant to Section 2.76 of the Redwood <br /> <br />City Code, for the lease renewal of photocopying equipment which <br /> <br />meets the requirements of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />there <br /> <br />has <br /> <br />been <br /> <br />presented <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />an <br /> <br />agreement for the lease of the Xerox Model 1090 copier, and it is <br /> <br />the intent of this Council to approve said lease agreement and to <br /> <br />authorize execution thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain <br /> <br />lease <br /> <br />agreement by and between <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Xerox Corporation, for a sixty (60) month lease <br /> <br />of the Xerox Model 1090 copier at a monthly price of Two Thousand <br /> <br />Three Hundred Seventy-five and No/100 Dollars ($2,375.00), with a <br /> <br />purchase option and full <br /> <br />service maintenance, <br /> <br />a copy of which <br /> <br />lease is on file in the office of the Finance Director, to which <br /> <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />hereby approved ¡ <br /> <br />and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />aforesaid <br /> <br />lease <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
