<br />DES:djk 0?/12/91 (049/28) <br />DES:djk O. 25/91R <br /> <br />0 RIG I N À L <br /> <br />2/25/91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11480 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br />ONE (1) POLICE VEHICLE UNDER THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASE <br />PROVISIONS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY BID #S-146 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 t.he City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />may <br /> <br />request <br /> <br />any <br /> <br />local <br /> <br />agency <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />defined by <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />54201 <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />Government <br /> <br />Code <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Los <br /> <br />Angeles <br /> <br />County, <br /> <br />bid <br /> <br />#S-146 <br /> <br />includes <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies <br /> <br />the opportunity to purchase police vehicles from Sopp Chevrolet; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of Los Angeles County conforms to <br /> <br />the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />purchase one <br /> <br />(1) police vehicle from Sopp Chevrolet pursuant to <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Cooperative <br /> <br />Purchase <br /> <br />Provision of Los Angeles <br /> <br />County Bid <br /> <br />#S-146; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all necessary and appropriate documents (in form approved <br /> <br />by the City Attorney) for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />one <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />police <br /> <br />vehicle <br /> <br />from <br /> <br />Sopp <br /> <br />Chevrolet pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase Provisions of Los <br /> <br />Angeles County Bid #S-146, a copy of which is on file in the <br /> <br />-- ... d.-rr" <br />
