<br />DES:djk 12/21/90 <br /> <br />(051/28) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />1/7 /91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11466 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE REDWOOD CITY ALMANAC AS THE <br />OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to the provisions of Section 90 of the <br /> <br />Charter of the City of Redwood City and Resolution No. <br /> <br />11435, <br /> <br />adopted <br /> <br />November <br /> <br />5, <br /> <br />1990, <br /> <br />proposals <br /> <br />were <br /> <br />solicited <br /> <br />from <br /> <br />all <br /> <br />newspapers of general circulation in the City for the publication <br /> <br />of all matters of the City required to be published; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />Almanac, <br /> <br />which <br /> <br />has <br /> <br />been <br /> <br />adjudicated as a newspaper of general circulation and which has <br /> <br />its principal office of publication located in the City, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder responding to <br /> <br />said solicitation for <br /> <br />bids; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to designate the Redwood City <br /> <br />Almanac as the official newspaper of the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The proposal of the Redwood City Almanac submitted in <br /> <br />response to the advertisement for bids for designation as the <br /> <br />official newspaper of the City pursuant to Resolution No. <br /> <br />11435 <br /> <br />is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for said designation. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Any and all informalities in the bid of said Redwood <br /> <br />City Almanac are hereby waived. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The Redwood City Almanac is hereby designated as the <br /> <br />official newspaper of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />----1r'- <br />
