The minutes of the regular meeting of October 25th. were read and, approved. OLD BUSINESS: .. COMMUNICATIONS: None. The agreement between ~edwood City and the.Redwood City Yacht Harbor for the renting Md leasing of the upper floor of the yacht clubhouse for the period of one ye'ar, was read and approved. \ MSC that the agreement as ~read be recommended to the City Council. Mr. Ross who attënded the 3rd. County-wide Recreation Discussion Gr~ on Nove~er 19th. in S~ Mateo, reports that our program is highly complimentarily to others and that our budget is 'nip and tuck' with Burlingame. NEW BUSINESS: Commissioner Ross inquired as to the responsibility of the Commission in regards to the Boy Scouts meeting in the Central Annex which is a fire hazard. It was pointed out by several that this was not the ~responsibility of the Commission but shows the need for desirable places to meet. Recreation Director Morton asked the possibility of getting funds to operate Gartieæd School with supervision for recreational facilities for the summer. . Chairman Bogie suggested that Morton appear before the School Board to present his plans and suggestions. MSC that Commissioner Hagan and Director Morton appear b8tOf8 tft8 Board. , Director Morton suggested the need for a coordinat- ing committee in the city to clear functions so that there i'3 not an 'overlapping, such as Bel Canto coneerts and prize fights.
