Case stated <br />that he enjoyed the past several years affiliation with the Commision <br />and that he "ould be very happy to assist the comP1ission in the future <br />if they ca1.led on him. <br /> <br />A communication from H. S. Stout stating that he 'p{iJ~l resign from the <br />Park and He creation Corr.mis sian effective ì\lay 5th 19.54 due to his <br />aT)poin tm.ent as a City Councilman. <br /> <br />M.SC by CoMT!1.is sioners Jerry Verssen and Alyn Beale s that a letter be sent <br />to the City Coundl recommending that all future Parks and PIRygrounds <br />be named after an appropriate pioneer of Redwood. Ci t¡! \vho ha s haà some <br />affiliation with the Park and Recreation developments of Redwood City. <br />Improvement Clubs in the area where the Park or Playground is located <br />shall make the recommendation to the naming to the l.Jity Council. <br /> <br />ChairmAn ~rving Gold requested that Recreation Director Alfred Morton <br />obtain the names and aidresses of all active Improvement Clubs in <br />Redwood City with the names of the officers. <br /> <br />~lSC by Commissioners ~Villiam Hanley and J"erry Versses tha't a letter be <br />sent to the City Council recommending that fllil Lorst be allowed to <br />erect a concession stand at Hawes Park according to the specifications <br />set up by the city officials. <br /> <br />The Commission felt that the agreement for Mr. Dorst should be similar <br />to the one now set up in the A. C.
