Noted absent: Willi£m Hanley. <br /> <br />Commissioner Maurice Schutz asked that the minutes of November 2 be <br />correctedPa~e 2, Paragraph 2 to read "Recreation Committee" instead <br />of '.'Park" cornmi ttee. Park Superintendent Balzarini corrected the <br />mlhutes to read "turfed c~~ity park", page 1, Paragraph 13. Page <br />1, Paragraph 13. Page 1, Paragraph 7, delete n~e of Park Supt. <br />Be.l.zarini. <br /> <br />MSC Catherine Brennan and Maurice Schutz that the minutes of November <br />2 be approved as corrected and mailed. <br /> <br />A copy of a ~tter dated November 17 was received from City Clerk <br />Dodge to Highlands Community Club. <br /> <br />A letter dated November 8;" was received from City Manager Rolison <br />regard'ing sprinklers at 2nd Ave. and Bay Road and Circle Park R~ad. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A letter from the Westwood Terrace improvement Club dated November 18 <br />was read, thanking the Commission for a representative at a rec~nt meeting~ <br /> <br />Recreation Director Morton reported continuing progress on the lighting <br />at Co~~1ty Park. <br /> <br />MSC Gerry Vers~en and Maurice Schutz that a letter be written to the <br />City Manager, asking for a survey of cost and advisability of covering <br />the grandstand at Ha~s Park. <br /> <br />Alyn Beals reported continued progress on the tree planting on El Camino, <br />between ~ipple and Brewster. He advised that reports have been made by <br />the Park Department and engineers Ðô the City Manager. <br /> <br />Alyn Beals reported that a fire inspection and building inspecti,on will. <br />be made on the building at Mezes L'ark, to find what is needed to put the <br />building in safe condition. <br /> <br />Al~ Be~ls left the meeting at 8:40 p.m. <br /> <br />In the B.bsence of William Henley, Chairmen Gold reported continued <br />progress at Yacht Hgrbor.
