'" Following Commissioners were present--AIJn Beals, Jim Knecht, Maurice Schutz, Louise Tornell, Catherine Brennan, Stan Sugarman and Jim Slo- bodian. Staff members present: Red Morton, Don Dimitratos, Wm. Shewry. Minutes of 'February 7, 1962 ~eting were approved as mailed. . Stan Sugarman was welcomed by Chairman Alyn Beals as the newest member of the Commission. ' CORRESPONDENCE: ~ Letter from City Manager Jim Neal regarding rest rooms on school grounds, informing the Commission that the matter will be referred to proper staff for consideration in the 1962-63 budget. , A letter from Noel M~ McKenzie requesting act~on for Frie~dly Acres Recreational facilities. Minute Order No. 62-46, it was ordered to refer communications to the Park and Recreation Commission for reply. '" COMMITTEE REPORT-- Park and Recreation Committee on Friendly Acres Recreational Facilites Jim Knecht, chairman, Red Morton, Pasco Balzarini and Jim Slobodian. The report of this committee you will find on a separate sheet. " ',> . A copy of ~these recommendations be forwarded to Mr. Neal, Mr. McKenzie and a copy to each City Councilman. A letter be sent to the City Manager requesting that lights at Commun- ity Park ,for night watering be completed before the summer program starts. Also why the platforms at Hawes Park for lights have not been completed, the summer program will be starting in April, these facilities must be completed. NOMINATING COMMITEE-- " Nominating Committee consisting of Maurice Schutz, chairman, Louise .
