Also to <br />be considered, the beautification of .the entrance of Stulsaft Park <br />from Farm Hill Boulevard. <br /> <br />MSC that a letter be written to the City Manager regarding the future <br />of Redwood City as outlined in his'letter of Setpember 21. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:00 plm~ <br /> <br />Louise Tornell, secretary <br /> <br />PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> <br />Regular Meeting, November 6,1963 <br /> <br />The meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was called to order <br />by Chairman Alyn Beals. The following Commissioners were present: <br />Alyn Beals, Catherine Brennan, James Knecht, Maurice Schutz, Stan <br />Sugarman, Louise Tornell and Robert Whitmore. Also present: Alfred <br />Morton, Bill Shewry,and Don Dimitratos. <br /> <br />The minutes of the October 2, 1963, meeting approved as mailed. <br /> <br />Correspondence was read regarding playground fencing and Community <br />Park improvements. <br /> <br />The commission was advised that Myrtle Street parking is to be put <br />out to bid. Also, that the Engineering Department is working on the <br />survey' of the Dickey Street perimeter parking.' <br /> <br />The beautification of Community Park is pending, awaiting ideas from <br />toe City Engineer's office regarding the creek. <br /> <br />Mr. Morton reported that the co-ordinating committee in the Friendly <br />Acres A œa a m canvassing the residents in that area as to their wants <br />regarding park and recreation facilities. <br /> <br />Chairman Beals appointed a committee to meet with Mr. Morton and Mr. <br />Balzarini to work out ideas of future development in Redwood City. <br />The committee to be James Knecht, chairman, Louise Tornell and <br />Robert Whitmore.
